This neck piece won 2nd prize in the Step-by-Step Beads competition. It was early winter in Osaka, Japan when I
started making the necklace. It rarely snows in Osaka, but that year we received much snow. It was beautiful to
behold. There were lovely ice crystals forming on the trees and the softly falling snow reminded me of diamond dust.
The outside scene gave me inspiration to create this piece. The necklace is composed of peyote stitching and fringes.
